In addition to filming material for the podcast, Carolyna got down to business with her co-producer/engineer Brian Boland to work on the mixes for the album currently in production. The material being mixed was recorded at the very fine Studio Litho in Seattle (Stone Gossard's studio). Next move is back to Venice to add some horns and background vocals and finish off the album. The PLAN is to be at Studio Blue (check it out in the gear-head podcast with Eric Selliken) for mid-May to mid-June. Loveless says "I felt at home in this fabulous studio complete with a live stage ... tell me about it!"

A great time was had at Casa de Shambles in Venice Beach, California. Carolyna Loveless took heaps of footage and interviewed some interesting artists, producers, and creators for 'The Vanhatten Project' podcast... another Swamp Folk podcast series. Ms. Loveless says "It was fabulous to have time to be a fan, a gear-head, and a podcaster.
